Minimum Check-in Times

Don’t miss your flight: know how early you need to check in at the airport. Keep in mind that these times only cover the check-in process once you reach the airline counters. Allow extra time for heavy traffic or other delays on the way to the airport.

	Domestic Flights	International Flights
Check-in without baggage	2 hours	2.5 hours
Check-in with baggage	2 hours	3 hours
Baggage drop-off	1.5 hours	2 hours
Minors traveling alone	2 hours	3 hours
Traveling with pets	2 hours	3 hours

Most airlines close check-in one hour before the scheduled departure. Check with your airline for more information.
